AI Content Policy

DETOON uses AI tools in its creative process, always with human oversight and final responsibility. This page explains how we use AI. Effective 24 September 2026.

1. What we use AI for

AI helps generate illustrations and comic panels featuring DETOON's original characters, and assists with drafting. The characters, scripts and messages are shaped by the DETOON team.

2. Human oversight

All content is reviewed, edited and approved by humans before publishing. AI is a supporting tool, not the decision-maker.

3. Fact-checking

For informational content, we cross-check against real sources and cite them openly. We do not publish AI-generated figures or quotes that we cannot verify.

4. What we do not do

• We do not use AI to impersonate real people (deepfakes) or real organizations
• We do not create fake news, misinformation or deceptive content
• We do not create content that breaks the law or infringes third-party rights

5. Transparency and feedback

We disclose our use of AI on this page. If you find any content problematic, please report it via the Contact page so we can review and act.
