5–15 panel comics · a 1–3 minute read
On day one, Luna gets asked the same loop — name, hometown, major — so many times she answers 'Ho Chi Minh City' to 'what's your name'. The hardest task is remembering a dozen new names; that night she still has to fill in an intro form. Punchline: she remembers 10 people's hometowns but forgot her own major. A relatable DETOON comic about freshman week — 50 new people in your head but only 2GB of RAM left.
At a reunion dinner, Rocco casually asks Luna 'when are you getting married' and 'how much do you earn'. Luna doesn't get mad — she just puts a QUESTION PRICE LIST on the table: the deeper the privacy, the higher the fee, and the Pro Max combo even adds an 'emotional-processing fee'. Rocco copies her and opens his own paid service — only to find he's already in debt. A gently satirical DETOON comic about nosy small talk.
Rocco turns a childhood question into a full detective case: Nobita has Doraemon and a whole vault of gadgets, so why is he broke every month? He suspects snacks, hobbies, even the gadgets… until Tau flips the case with a very grown-up truth: the mystery isn't where Nobita's money went, but why you get a salary and still go broke. A DETOON mystery-comedy of Doraemon nostalgia that pivots straight back at the reader.
Rocco cuts cable TV to 'simplify life' — all those channels he never watched — and goes all-in on streaming. But every movie lives on a different app: subscribe to A, then B, then C… until the TV is full of icons, month-end renewal alerts pile up, and his wallet runs dry. A relatable DETOON slice-of-life comic: quit cable to stop paying for unwatched stuff, only to rebuild 'cable' out of apps.
Get Go is fed up with daily deadlines and switches careers to 'start a whole new life' — but at the new job, the deadline already knows the address. Five jobs later, it's still chasing him, synced to the cloud. A relatable DETOON office comic: no job is tiring-free, there's only the kind of tired you can live with — and if you can't yet, just rename the Deadline folder to Fun Challenges.
Rocco and Luna try a full day with no phone, no TV, no laptop. Three minutes in it's already 'so now what?', and Rocco's hand keeps reaching for a phone that isn't there — until they discover the person sitting next to them has a neat feature: talking in person. A sweet, relatable DETOON couple comic about putting the screen down long enough to look at the one beside you.
8 a.m.: Tau's body is at the office but his brain is 'on the way'. Energetic Rocco keeps asking questions while Tau has to load coffee to boot up like a computer — loading 60%, 99%, then stuck 'installing updates' because 'the Monday build boots slower'. A relatable DETOON office comic about people who drink coffee not to wake up, but to unlock 'human features'.
Luna sets off on a 1,357 km trek to 'find herself' — full of philosophy at the start, but 5 km in her feet start voicing opinions, and her goal slides from finding herself to finding food, then water, then finally just… a place to sit. A relatable DETOON travel comic about learning that you love adventure, but your feet have opinions of their own.
Some days nothing big happens — just a few more emails, a slightly closer deadline, and a little more tired. Get Go learns to comfort himself: a quiet seat, a dish he loves, and one evening no one asks 'are you done yet?'.
A 5-minute rest becomes unemployment, one bowl becomes a poor appetite, torn jeans become poverty, a laptop becomes gaming — a warm DETOON comic about grandparents' adorable misunderstandings, all out of love.
Leo declutters for space, then 'a shelf would look great here' — one shelf pulls in plants, books, a lamp, a cabinet… and the room fills up again. The hardest part is just not opening the shopping app. A 4-page DETOON comic.
Rocco calls the AI drama ridiculous in episode 1 — then watches to episode 47 at 2 a.m. just to 'find where the bottom is'. Leo can't stop him. A 3-page DETOON comic.
